Private Care

private care servicesFor Service with Integrity, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day

Geneva Northlink Healthcare offers private pay services for those who do not qualify for Government assistance or who cannot get enough Government assistance to cover all their needs. If you have any of the following needs and your Needs Assessment Agency does not fund them or you need a ‘top-up’, we can arrange services that you pay for privately.

Our private services are measured by the same high standards as our Government funded services. Private paying services are carried out with the same compassionate and professional care, 24 hours a day 7 days a week. If you don’t receive enough Government should consider using our private scheme.

We can arrange privately paid services for any of the following needs:

Housework:

Light housekeeping services can be paid for privately for those who need assistance with cleaning, dusting, mopping and vacuuming on a regular or intermittent basis. This service can be scheduled through Geneva Northlink Healthcare even if someone else provides the services.

Shopping:

For groceries, prescriptions or basics such as clothing and toiletries are available through private paid services.

Doctor Visits:

If your doctor appointments and medical tests are scheduled in advance, our staff will drive you there, wait there for you and bring you back home.

Food Preparation:

This service can be provided and scheduled so that staff come once a day and cook at your home, while providing you with three meals per day.

Companionship:

This is a real need for clients who are homebound and alone. Non-medical staff can be assigned to visit, read to the client or watch TV and movies with them. Our staff can be scheduled for up to several hours per day and paid for with private funds.

Overnight Care (including one off):

Some disabled people who are homebound should not be left alone at night and have no other means of support. This service can be paid for privately and staff could be scheduled for the overnight periods up to 7 days a week.

Support Following Surgery:

This could be for a few days or a few weeks depending upon the type of surgery and speed of recovery and can include monitoring and dressing changes.

Palliative Care:

This would require medical staff to prescribe and administer pain medication, as the client needs it.

Child Care:

If our client has young children then private funds could be used to pay for professional, in-home childcare for those children.

All Personal Cares:

These services are usually paid for by Government funds but if a client does not have enough Government funding then private pay may be used for personal care needs such as bathing, feeding, changing of clothing and bedding if needed, transferring if needed and any other needs of a personal nature.

The staff members that provide these Private Care Services are well trained, competent, and reliable and have passed police checks. The Private Care Services are flexible and can be tailored to meet your needs.
